LaSalle Bank Partnership

The Detroit Institute of Arts is proud to salute LaSalle Bank for its continued commitment to the arts and our community. In May, LaSalle Bank invited DIA associate members to a wonderful evening featuring a strolling dinner and tours of the bank’s contemporary art collection. DIA Director Graham W. J. Beal and curators Nancy Sojka and Becky Hart led the tours and discussed the various artists represented. The impressive architectural aspects of LaSalle Bank’s Troy headquarters added a special touch to a marvelous evening.

The announcement that LaSalle Bank would be the official sponsor of the DIA’s exhibition Annie Leibovitz: American Music, September 24, 2006 to January 7, 2007, was greeted with applause. The DIA is truly excited to partner with LaSalle Bank on this project. Sponsorship of exhibitions allows our audience to nsee art works of world-class stature that are not usually on view in our state. We thank LaSalle Bank for their financial support and encourage you to enjoy seeing the great photographs of Annie Leibovitz.
