Membership Benefits

As a member of the European Paintings Council, you will become intimately acquainted with the DIA’s stellar collection of European paintings through behind-the-scenes opportunities, previews of new exhibitions, and gallery tours. Occasionally, trips are offered to the homes of private collectors, to other museums in the U.S. with special exhibitions, and to international art markets.

Membership Levels

• $50 Individual
• $100 Dual
• $250 Sustaining
• $500 Benefactor

Funds raised through membership in the European Paintings Council, donations received from trips, the EPC Endowment, and other fundraising activities are used primarily to frame great works of art in the collection.

The European Paintings Council is led by a Board of Directors and is advised by curators and staff in the European Art Department.

In order to be eligible for membership in the European Paintings Council, you must be a member of The Detroit Institute of Arts.
