In 1920 Buster Keaton was given an opportunity to make his own comedies by film producer Joseph Schenck. In response, he created his signature innovations in cinematography and editing which captured his genius for breathtaking acrobatics and a cynical, underdog wit. These four short films are prime examples of Keaton’s art, and will be shown in beautiful 35mm restorations. (81 min.) Sat. at 4:00
Admission is free to the public.
