The Academy Award® nominated short films are traditionally among the year’s most creative and surprising films of any kind, yet they’re usually the most difficult to find, particularly on the big screen. This year, beginning on Friday, February 19th and continuing for two weekends, DFT will present all ten nominees in both categories (five animated, five live action) in one eye-popping program, running just under three hours including intermission. This year’s crop includes dazzling new works from the USA, Sweden, France, Spain, Russia and India, as well as A Matter of Loaf and Death, the new half-hour “Wallace and Grommit” short from England’s Nick Park, creator of the beloved series. Here’s your chance to predict the winners before the Oscars® are handed out on March 7th!

Because some of this year's nominated films contain adult language and subject matter, this program is not recommended for persons under 17.
