7:00 PM DFT Auditorium

The battle between white and black swans unfolds with savage grace in the incomparable Swan Lake. Tchaikovsky’s haunting music traces the gravity-defying steps of prima ballerina Mariya Aleksandrova as she dances both Odette and Odile in this definitive production, recently recorded in high-definition before a full house at the legendary Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow. Ruslan Skvortsov and Nikolay Tsiskaridze co-star in this acclaimed production, conducted by Pavel Sorokin and choreographed by Yuri Grigorovich after Marius Petipa, Lev Ivanov, and Alexander Gorsky. Swan Lake is the first in a series of exclusive DFT presentations of high-definition ballets from the world’s most celebrated venues. (3 hours with one intermission.)

Note: special ticket prices apply - $18 general, $16 students, seniors, and DIA members.
