In its first four decades, the ND/NF Festival has introduced to American audiences the early works of such world-renowned directors as Pedro Almodóvar, Steven Spielberg, Spike Lee, Wim Wenders, John Sayles, Richard Linklater, Todd Solondz, Guillermo del Toro, Christopher Nolan, Sally Potter, Kevin Smith and Wong Kar-Wai.
