Terence Davies' 1988 classic film Distant Voices Still Lives will be discussed in depth at the 38th Annual Symposium of the Michigan Psychoanalytic Society at the Detroit Film Theater April 13, 8am to 3:30pm. Distinguished speakers are Glenn Gabbard, M.D., renowned psychoanalyst and film aficionado and DFT's own Elliot Wilhelm. Local psychoanalyst Marc Rosen, Ph.D. will discuss the film from a psychoanalytic perspective.
