Five speakers explores the life of Charles Lang Freer, his role as a cultural force in Detroit, and the gift of his art collection to the nation. They offer brief presentations on Freer's legacy as represented by his home on Ferry Street and the Gallery in Washington, D.C. that bears his name. Speakers include Dr. Kenneth Myers, chief curator and head of the museum’s department of American art.
