Friday, April 27, 2012

7 & 8:30 PM

  • For Everyone

Baaba has been described as the Polish underground supergroup that often collaborates with a wide range of jazz and underground musicians and producers. Their music contains jazz and rock melodies mixed with psychedelic beats and danceable funk.  The current line–up includes: Tomasz Duda (saxophones, flute, sampler), Bartosz Weber (guitar, sampler), Piotr Zabrodzki (bas, keys, voice), Macio Moretti (drums,). Baaba will perform with classic animated films from 1950s and 1960s Poland. This program is made possible by the Polish Cultural Institute, New York.
