FNL Lawn Party: Concert of Colors

October Babies perform original songs in Japanese and English. Their music weaves together elements of funk, jazz, R&B, reggae, techno, Latin, drum & bass, and pop. Toko Shiiki-Santos and Erik Santos are the core of the band and its primary songwriters. They perform music from their two albums “Ao-zora Radio” and “High Hai Hi!” Concert takes place on the south lawn of the DIA. Drop-In Workshop: Fans: Uchiwa
Uchiwa is a particular style of paper fan common in Japan. Learn about the tradition of making Uchiwa as you create a fan of your own based.

Artist/instructors help participants create pencil drawings to take home. No experience necessary; materials provided.
