Discover the real reasons behind Kwanzaa’s seven principles through stories filled with fun and excitement told by Tonya Dallas.
Drop-In Workshop: Luminaries Noon-4 p.m. (12 and under must be with an adult) Explore infinite patterns and colors using tissue paper on a simple glass jar that you can illuminate at home with a small candle, like a tea light.
Drawing in the Galleries for Adults and Youth Noon–4 p.m. (Ages 6 and older, children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult) Artist/instructors help participants create pencil drawings to take home.
