Friday Night Live!
Friday, October 17, 2008 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM
DIA Halloween 08 6–9 p.m. Visit the DIA if you dare for its haunted/mystery tours. Costumed docents and other volunteers will lead visitors from Higley Cottage every 15 minutes, proceed along the outer ring of the other American galleries, and end at the Court of Death painting, providing haunting facts along the way. Lighting is adjusted and other effects are used to create a spooky atmosphere throughout the galleries.
Music: Todd Snider 7 & 8:30 p.m. Balladeer Todd Snider writes songs that combine the wanderlust of a beat poet with the honest narrative of a folksinger/songwriter. His music is catchy, intelligent, articulate, sardonic, sarcastic, and sometimes fantastic.
