Geocaching Series:
April–June 2012
The Detroit Institute of Arts' Inside|Out project, now in its third year, brings 80 reproductions of paintings from its collection to the streets and parks of metro Detroit. In each participating community, seven to 10 works will be clustered within walking or bike-riding distance in a grand, open-air gallery. As part of this project, geocaches* will be placed near ten of the reproductions, each one in a different community.
