The DIA's Forum for Prints, Drawings and Photographs is pleased to present its signature annual program Perspectives on Photography on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 7 p.m. In its third year and in response to the exhibition Motor City Muse: Detroit Photographs, Then and Now, the evening includes panel participants: Jerry Herron, Professor of English and Dean of the Irving D. Reid Honors College at Wayne State University; Karin Jobst, Motor City Muse artist; Nadja Rottner, Assistant Professor of Art History, University of Michigan, Dearborn; and Nancy Barr, DIA Associate Curator and panel moderator. The group will discuss past and recent creative photographic responses by outsiders to America and specifically to Detroit.
This year’s Perspectives on Photography program is sponsored by the Forum for Prints, Drawings and Photographs and Amerisure.
