Music: Phil Ogilvie’s Rhythm Kings
7 & 8:30 p.m.

Phil Ogilvie’s Rhythm Kings are a 10-piece, 1920s style jazz and dance band under the direction of Grammy-nominated pianist James Dapogny. P.O.R.K. features the top musicians performing their type of jazz and dance music in the state. The Woodward Terrace Dancers join the Rhythm Kings for this unique evening of 1920s-style music and dancing. Audience participation is encouraged.

 

Drop-In Workshop: Papel Picado
6–9 p.m
(12 and under must be with an adult)

Have fun as you try this Mexican art of cutting paper.

Location: Loggia, Student Lunch Area

 

Drawing in the Galleries for Youth
6–9 p.m.
(Ages 6–14, children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult)

Artist/instructors help participants create pencil drawings to take home. No experience necessary; materials provided.

Adventures in Drawing
6–9 p.m.
(Ages 5 and younger. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please remain with your children at all times. DIA is not responsible for children left unattended.)

Children explore creative expression through drawing with assistance from museum instructors.

Location: Family Room, Level 2
