Moonbeams for Motown
Friday, April 13, 2012 – Monday, April 16, 2012 | Artist talk on Sunday, April 15, 2012
Moonbeams for Motown, a mixed media installation tracing the rays of the sun, will illuminate the sky above the front lawn of the DIA for four nights in a row. Artist Michael Rodemer will use electroluminescent fibers and micro controllers to provide visual markers of the rays of the sun at night. The spectacle will pierce the night sky, extending from the roof of the museum to the ground, each night until 10 p.m.
