De Temps Antan: 7 & 8:30 PM/ DIA Moment: PuppetSlam Detroit! 8 PM

  • For Everyone
The Concert of Colors is metro Detroit’s annual free diversity music festival. It is presented by the Arab American National Museum, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Detroit Institute of Arts, Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, ACCESS, and Midtown Detroit Inc. with the goal of bringing together metro Detroit’s diverse ethnic communities by presenting music from around the world. Over its 20-year history, the festival has become a beloved highlight of metro Detroit’s summer festival season, and one of the few free-admission music festivals remaining locally. The DIA is proud to participate in this event, and will feature a program of free music and a theater performance, as well as complimentary admission to the museum's galleries until 10pm.

Concert of Colors: De Temps Antan: 7 & 8:30 PM
De Temps Antan is a band from Quebec committed to exploring and performing time-honored melodies from the stomping grounds of Quebec’s musical past. Using fiddle, accordion, harmonica, guitar, bouzouki and a number of other instruments, our three virtuosos blend boundless energy with the unmistakable joie de vivre found only in traditional Quebec music.
