Teacher Event: Discover the Detroit Institute of Arts' Resources for K-12 Teachers
Friday, June 21, 2013 |4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Explore the galleries with a trained teaching volunteer who will model guided tour options and highlight the interactive tools available to guests on self-guided visits. Tours start at 4:30pm and will be offered throughout the event.
Meet with DIA educatiors who will answer questions, assist with museum field trip preparation, and seek your feedback on curriculum connections, professional development opportunities, and supplemental classroom resources.

Gated self-parking is available in the Cultural Center Lot (located on John R directly behind the museum) daily and the Rackham Garage Structure until 10 p.m. Cost: $5.00
Residents from Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne Counties receive free admission. All other educators can sign up for a DIA Educator Pass to receive free general admission to the museum.
