Detroit Film Theatre
Cinema Studies @ DFT

Coming to the DFT this winter!

Do you want to understand film better? Earn three transferable college credits while attending class at the Detroit Film Theatre this winter with Oakland Community College film professor Robert Andersen. OCC, partnered with the Detroit Film Theatre, is offering a section of their Humanities 1900 Introduction to the Film using the Detroit Film Theatre program as the basis of study. The class meets in the DFT for 12 weeks each Friday at 5pm beginning January 22, 2010 and ending April 16. A lecture/discussion precedes the 7pm public screening. The total cost for this course is $250.30. Students can audit, rather than take the class for credit and a grade. For detailed information, such as how to register, visit the instructor’s website at http://www.oaklandcc.edu/ahart/rwanders
