Assessments:

Students were required to keep a folder of their work on The American Mosaic. After making their mosaic art project, students could write a brief description of what images they chose to represent their heritage and why they chose those images. This could be a guided writing assessment based upon the "Power Writing" model used in our school. These elements of the project can be tracked in an Assessment for An American Mosaic.
