 This lesson can easily be adapted to various age levels and abilities. Students can add their own design elements instead of or in addition to Egyptian designs. This project is also part of our "Art Through the Ages" class, a hands-on Art History class for grades 2 and 3 taught every other year. This year our study of Egypt will also include other teachers and include music, language arts, math, social studies, and science as well as art. Our plan is to culminate with a celebration for students, teachers and parents.
