This project will help young children begin to understand time and the passage of time. You will be looking for childrens´ understanding by observing them and taking notes of their comments.
Consider these points:- Does the child recognize the year in which he or she was born?
- Can the child count decades and centuries?
- Does the child understand that a long time has passed between the present and the time of ancient Egypt?
- Can the child use the timeline to find a given year?
