Helpful Hints
I prepared this outline to help my 7th grade students write their group reports on ancient Egypt, after I had introduced the project in class (see Preparation and Resources). We had already spent one class period in our media center, but students were having trouble deciding how to organize the information they found. I presented them with this outline before we went to the library the second day. It helped them to focus their research and plan their reports.
