TAO The Way: Pathways to Asian Art at the DIA
Grades 5–12

Art and social studies lesson plans help students discover the cultures and arts of China, Korea, and Japan. This project was made possible with generous funding from the Freeman Foundation.

Grades k–6
Lessons relate ancient Egypt to social studies, language arts, art, math and science. Includes step-by-step instructions for activities, images and information.

African Art and Personal Adornment
Grades 5–8
Lessons explore how identity is expressed through traditional African art at the DIA. A video and companion CD Rom may also be purchased from the Wayne County Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA).
