The Roeper School is an independent day school dedicated to the education of gifted students from over 60 southeast Michigan communities Pre-K through grade 12. The school was founded in 1941 by George and Annemarie Roeper.

This lesson was created in conjunction with the school's eighth grade social studies curriculum, developed by Michael Ruddy, which focuses on political and cultural developments of the 20th century. Click to see the lesson plan for A Century at the Millennium Posters.

Students were given the option to respond either to the Seeing and Believing project or to a 20th-century issue as a final project for their social studies course.
