Influential author, teacher, environmental activist, Ansel Adams is above all one of America’s greatest photographers.  Don’t miss over 100 black-and-white photographs from this American icon.  A wide range of images are featured, from early Yosemite works to his first landscape series to spectacular photographs of the Pueblo Indians, the Canadian Rockies, Western landscapes and more.

This exhibition was organized by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. In Detroit, the exhibition is sponsored by DTE Energy Foundation. Additional support has been provided by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs and the City of Detroit.
