With our major renovation and expansion project well underway there's a transformation taking place at the Detroit Institute of Arts and much to look forward to as we move towards its completion in late 2007. For more than a century the DIA has housed some of the world's greatest works of art. We have also been a gathering place for the vibrant community that is metropolitan Detroit. With our project we're building on that great tradition, making all of the things you love about the museum even better. The DIA is your museum and we look forward to bringing you new ways to look at, think about and talk about art and our world.
