The Detroit Institute of Arts' Founders Junior Council Presents "Artseen" Featuring "On the Edge: Contemporary Art from the Diamler Chrysler Collection"

WHAT: The Detroit Institute of Arts’ (DIA) Founder’s Junior Council (FJC) invites you to ArtSeen, a night of art, music, food and fun, featuring the exhibition On the Edge: Contemporary Art from the DaimlerChrysler Collection. On the Edge showcases innovative contemporary art from artists around the world, including Andy Warhol, Robert Longo and Josef Albers. The evening includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and music by DJ Powdrblu.
WHEN: Friday, November 21 from 7 to 11 p.m.
WHERE: The Detroit Institute of Arts, 5200 Woodward Avenue in Detroit. The event takes place in CaféDIA, the museum’s new dining hall, and the North Court. Please use the Woodward Avenue entrance.

WHY: To engage young professionals in the DIA for an evening of socializing and a must-see exhibition. Founders Junior Council is a DIA auxiliary that supports museum programs and art acquisitions.
