Renowned Dutch Floral Arranger to Speak at Detroit Institute of Arts: Demonstration, book signing part of annual Elizabeth Sites Kuhlman Lecture

April 6, 2010 (Detroit)—Els Teunissen, renowned Dutch-born flower arranger demonstrates her skills at the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) on Wednesday, April 28 at 10:30 a.m. Teiunissen is the featured speaker for the DIA’s 11th Annual Elizabeth Sites Kuhlman Lecture presented by the museum auxiliary Friends of Art and Flowers.

Teunissen will create inspirational floral pieces and sign copies of the book Party Flowers, which features her outstanding floral designs. Guests can also stroll among a selection of her unique and inspiring tablescapes. Teunissen has designed arrangements for events such as the 61st Academy Awards and the royal wedding of the Crown Prince of Holland.
