Major Gifts
Throughout the history of the museum, many individuals and
families have made gifts of personal significance that have helped
sustain the DIA. Major Gifts are those gifts above the $11,000
level, many times reaching into the hundreds of thousands, and in
select cases, millions of dollars. This vital source of income
supports every aspect of museum operations. Gifts at the Major Gift
level demonstrate how personal wealth, and a civic-minded spirit,
can "preserve the most beautiful sentiments of the humanity of the
past."
For more information about making a gift, please contact Rose Giffen, Manager of Major Gifts, at rgiffen@dia.org or 313.494.5233.
Matching Gift Opportunities
Another opportunity to help substantially increase the impact of
your gift is provided by participation in a matching gift program.
If your company has a matching gift program, you may be able to
double your gift to the DIA. We know you will take great pleasure in
the fact that your contribution will be going twice as far in
supporting the arts.
