Tribute and Memorial Giving

Everyone loves a nice surprise. An unexpected note from a friend makes us feel special, and we all know that surprising someone with a thoughtful gift is just as satisfying for the gift-giver as it is for the recipient.

The DIA's Tribute and Memorial Giving Program offers a unique opportunity to reach out to friends and family while supporting the day-to-day operation of the museum. Contributions help support everything from paying the utility bills to caring for over 65,000 works of art in the DIA's permanent collection.

You can make tribute gifts in celebration of birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, promotions, confirmations, weddings, or any other event that you would like to recognize.

Memorial gifts can be made to express sympathy or to remember a beloved friend or family member. Memorial gifts preserve the legacy of those remembered and honor the surviving family as well.

Tribute and memorial gifts can be made at any time of the year, for any reason, including no reason at all! Let someone know that you are thinking of them. Surprise a spouse, child, or a friend with a beautiful card, sent on your behalf, letting them know a donation benefiting the DIA was made in their honor.
