Part-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt (maximum of 15 hours/week)
The Detroit Institute of Arts offers qualified graduate students an internship opportunity that provides practical work experience to correspond with academic and professional goals. This position reports to the Director of the Research Library & Archives.
Must be a current student in an ALA accredited graduate library and information science school in good standing.
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
Minimum one year library experience preferred.
Must be well-organized and self-directed.
Process various library and/or archival collections.
Assist with interlibrary loans and cataloguing.
Maintain inventories in File Maker Pro databases.
Other projects as required.
