About the Artwork

Hoffmann and Otto Wagner founded the Wiener Werkstätte in 1903. Following the principles of the Wiener Werkstätte, the objects designed by Hoffmann have simple functional forms like this complete silverplate flatware place setting. Also following the Wiener Werkstätte concept, he used geometric form as decoration.
