Inscribed, center left: In the Pamphili Palace at Rome. | The Great Annual Sacrifice at the Temple of Apollo in the Island of Delos.This Temple stood at the entrance of a City, built entirely of Granite & Marble, by Erisichton, son of Cecrops, first King of Athens: & was afterwards enrich'd by the Greeks, to the admiration of all antiquity. Inscribed, center right: Dans le Palais Pamfili a Rome. | followed by French counterpart to English inscription quoted above Inscribed, center lower edge of plate: Published by F.
