Provenance
This particular cape was brought from the East by Captain Henry (or Andrew) McCondry, who gave it to his niece, Lucy Smith Godfrey, the donor's great grandmother. It was passed on to her daughter, Mary Dudley Godfrey Cherry, then to her grand-daughter Henrietta Cherry Barr, and hence to Mrs. Sylvester Jerry.
