Chinese Autumn Festival

As part of the Arts of Asia: A Year-Long Celebration, the DIA and its auxiliary the Friends of Asian Arts and Cultures invite you to celebrate fall with the Chinese Autumn Festival.

Featuring music and dance performances, displays of art by professional and youth artist, tea ceremony, mooncakes and more, the Autumn Festival will celebrate Detroit’s Chinese American community and the cultural legacy reflected in the DIA’s Robert & Katherine Jacobs Asian Wing. Recommended for all ages.

The show on the 21st will be featuring special guest and host, recording artist D’arcy “ZiZi” Han涵子 (pictured), team Liu Huan刘欢 runner up in season 2 of Sing! China. 

The third “Magnificent China” Detroit US-China Cultural Art Festival will be part of the DIA Mid-Autumn Festival September 21 – 22.  Presented by North American Chinese Coalition-Michigan, Chinese Association of Greater Detroit, Michigan Chinese Art Troupe, Chinese School Association of Michigan and Dragon Eagle TV.
