Into the Frame | InsideOut Literary Arts Writing Workshops

Join InsideOut for a series of creative writing workshops inspired by the DIA's special exhibitions, Detroit Collects and Michigan's Great Lakes. Led by InsideOut's acclaimed Writers-in-Residence, these workshops will utilize selected paintings and photos to explore the ways visual art can connect to and deepen our conversations and our writing.

Participants will have opportunities to explore examples of ekphrastic poetry and write their own poems as they "enter into" these compelling works of art. Sessions will be limited to 20 participants, ages 12 and up. Advance registration required.
