Friday Night Live!: Miles Davis Tribute featuring Rayse Biggs and Dwight Adams
From his arrival on the national scene in 1945 until his death in 1991, trumpeter Miles Davis made music that grew from an uncanny talent to hear the future and a headstrong desire to play it. Miles became the standard-bearer for generations of musicians, shaping the course of modern improvisational music. The stylistic journeys of Miles Davis’s music will be explored by a band led by Detroit trumpet masters Rayse Biggs and Dwight Adams.
Performances begin at 7 & 8:30 p.m.
Friday Night Live! is supported by the DTE Energy Foundation.
