Hearing In Color: Teen Workshop Combining Art with Music
Love album cover art? Or just love art and music altogether? Let’s fuel that passion. Teens will complete paintings on vinyl records inspired by their favorite albums and artists, all while listening to a soundtrack curated by themselves. Teens will have the opportunity to share their what they created and the inspiration behind it at the end of the hour and will leave with an original painting of their creation.
The first 60 participants to register will be provided an art kit that includes: two vinyl records and an acrylic paint set. The registration deadline is June 18; however, supplies may take a few days to be shipped.
The Teen Arts Council is generously sponsored by the Dresner Foundation.
