Let’s Art About It: Art Therapist Guided Teen Workshop
In this workshop, participants will get an introduction to Art Therapy and the therapeutic benefits of art-making. Participants will leave with more knowledge about managing and transforming stress, practice tools to build resilience and manage their own and others' mental health, as well as the memories of creating art in a safe space to improve their overall health and happiness.
Supplies needed: Paper and pen (optional: anything you may have access to such as crayons or markers)
Shazia Siddiqi, M.A., ATR-BC, LPC Shazia is a Board Certified Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor with 20 years of helping tens of thousands of people use the expressive arts to explore identity and purpose through her community and clinical work. She has a dual Master of Arts degree in Art Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wayne State University in Detroit where she is currently an Adjunct Professor teaching Art Therapy studio methods for MA and MEd Art Therapy students.
Shazia is the Founder and CEO of Let’s Art About It LLC, an Art Therapy studio wellness provider located in the heart of Downtown Clawson, Michigan that hosts virtual Art Therapy and Expressive Arts workshops for organizations and individuals across the globe.
