Mawtini Dabkeh Troupe

Celebrate Arab American Heritage Month with Mawtini Dabkeh Troupe, a Michigan-based folk dancing group that promotes Palestinian culture through Dabkeh - a joyous dance whose various forms can be found throughout the Arab world - live music and fashion. Mawtini Dabkeh Troupe routinely showcases their work at festivals other celebrations throughout the United States.  This performance is free but requires advance registration.

This program is supported by the DIA's auxiliary, Friends of Asian Arts and Cultures.

The DIA is striving to be a gathering place for everyone. In that effort, we will be presenting this performance with ASL interpretation to better include our community members who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
