Tea-Time Theatre: The Princess and the Frog
(USA/2009 Directed by John Musker and Ron Clements)
Disney’s return to traditional hand-drawn animation features award-winning music, irresistible characters and a modern twist on a classic fairy tale. Set in New Orleans in the 1920s, our heroine Tiana, a hard-working, determined girl, meets a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again.
Transformed into a frog by a conniving voodoo magician Tiana follows suit after kissing the amphibian royalty. This fateful kiss leads them both on an adventure through the bayous of Louisiana that, spurred on by a little bit of courage and a great big dream, helps these new friends come to realize what's truly important in life...love, family and friendship. (97 min.)
