Thursdays at the Museum: Film - The Lavender Hill Mob

A meek banker (Alec Guinness) fed up with a lifetime of work for low wages, teams up with his seedy neighbor (Stanley Holloway) to steal gold bullion and smuggle it out of the country in the shape of miniature Eiffel Towers. This beloved classic British comedy took home the Academy Award for Best Story and Screenplay as well as a nomination for Alec Guinness. (78 min.)
