Due to the closure during the coronavirus pandemic, the museum is experiencing a shortfall in revenue and has established the DIA Sustainability Fund to fill the gap in operational expenses.

In times of crisis, the arts help remind people that they are not alone. The museum remains steadfast in serving as a beacon of optimism and a place of respite for our community.

Your support of the DIA Sustainability Fund demonstrates hope for the future. It will help provide remote access to the museum’s collection, art education for school children through virtual field trips this fall, weekly resources for seniors, allow our staff to prepare for upcoming exhibitions and continue to expand our community partnerships.

Make your gift to the DIA Sustainability Fund today and help the DIA remain a harbinger of hope in our region.

If you have recently made a gift to the Detroit Institute of Arts, THANK YOU for your steadfast support.
