The DIA will be back January 27.

Updated Jan 22, 2023

From the Director

The Detroit Institute of Arts offices and galleries will be closed from Monday, January 23 through Thursday, January 26. These paid days off, I hope, allow the extraordinary DIA staff an opportunity to rest and recharge following the end of Van Gogh in America, our enormously successful and unprecedented exhibition. Its success was the result of a sustained and focused effort across the organization, and I am so grateful to each and every person who went above and beyond for many months to make this exhibition a remarkable and high-quality experience for the thousands of visitors who came to see it.

DIA’s galleries, offices, and shop reopens Friday, January 27. Until then, please enjoy the many treasures you can find at https://dia.org/collection!
