We’ve updated our membership levels! Over the next year, we’ll be issuing new membership cards to reflect these changes.

In the meantime, if you are a member with reciprocal benefits, please present your membership sleeve as proof of active membership.

Associates of the American Wing	Associates of the American Wing (AAW) members enjoy special programs focusing on with American painting, sculpture, and decorative arts of the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries.
European Paintings Council	Through focused gallery tours, visits to the DIA's conservation laboratory, lectures, and more, European Paintings Council (EPC) provides behind-the-scenes opportunities, supporting one of the museum's most important collections.
Founders Junior Council	Founders Junior Council (FJC) is a group of young professionals dedicated to making the DIA more accessible to more people.
Friends of African and African-American Art	As one of the DIA's most active auxiliaries, FAAAA is committed to developing an appreciation of African and African-American art and supporting acquisitions in these important areas.
Friends of Art & Flowers	Friends of Art & Flowers (FAF) was formed in 1988 as the result of a highly successful Art & Flowers Spring Festival. The Friends' primary function is the beautification of the DIA.
Friends of Asian Arts and Cultures	Friends of Asian Arts and Cultures (FAAC) welcomes all who have an interest in the arts of Asia, the Islamic World, and the Ancient Middle East.
Friends of Modern and Contemporary Art	Friends of Modern and Contemporary Art (FMCA), the museum's oldest auxiliary, supports art acquisitions and activities of the James Pearson Duffy Department of Contemporary Art.
Friends of Prints, Drawings & Photographs	Friends of Prints, Drawings & Photographs (FPDP) hosts educational and social programs around related DIA exhibitions, dinners, lectures, workshops and festive previews.
Friends of Detroit Film Theatre	Friends of the Detroit Film Theatre (FDFT) help to support the DFT film series, preserve the DIA's collection of film, video, and related materials, and raise funds toward restoration of the museum's historic auditorium.
Visiting Committee for European Sculpture and Decorative Arts	The Visiting Committee (VCESDA) studies European sculpture and decorative arts in all their variety. Members encounter inspiring objects in many media, discover their exciting histories, and connect with fellow enthusiasts through lectures, tours, and exclusive seminars.
