Her latest project, 7 Mile + Livernois, pays homage to Detroit's Black business and fashion district, where she grew up. This ambitious museum installation at the DIA features her new sculptures alongside works by other artists, reimagining art's role in community and offering a vibrant, inclusive view of Detroit. Massey's work invites us to celebrate our collective identity, ancestral flyness, and beauty."
