Inscribed, a poem in four columns: O qu'vne Ame a de mal, lors que la non-chalance | L'Esloigne du vray bien, pour l'en prieur en fin! | Et que cessant d'agir auecque vigilance, | Elle va mollement au seruice diuin ! || Ce mistique Tableau nous en fournit l'exemple, | Où Celles que le Monde amusoit vainement; | N'ayant assez | à temps pris le chemin du Temple, | Portent la peine enfin de leur retardement. || Abordant ce Saint lieu, soudain ces Vierges folles, En qui l'humeur legere au peu de soin se joint; | Entendent vne voix, qui leur dict ces parolles, | Retirez vous d'icy, ie ne vous connoy point. || Surprises de ces mots, elles sont sans excuse ; | Tant la peur les saisit d'vn violant accez ; | Et s'en reuont ainsi pleintiue et confuses, | Du regret qu'elles ont dvn si mauuais succez.
