Inscribed, in pencil, on verso, lower right: 1/30 Inscribed, in pencil, on verso, lower center: Aug 1983 Inscribed, lower center: Photographing While Driving Should Be Discouraged Inscribed, in black ink, on verso, lower center, by the artist: Every working day for the past three years I've driven under what is known as | the Southfield/Jeffries Interchange. At most times this area is bumper to bumper | with terrible stop and go traffic; but most of the time it's the only one mile | stretch of the Southfield Freeway that opens up to fast and free driving. | I've seen some of the worst accidents on my way to work and back. | Photographing while driving should be discouraged.
