In 2013, The Detroit All Star Revue paid tribute to the Motor City’s rich jazz legacy. A decade later, the great Marion Hayden returns to the Revue to curate another magical evening. This year’s program will take the audience on a musical journey that pays tribute to the Titans of Detroit Jazz, featuring the brightest stars on the scene today.

This event will feature Dave McMurray, A. Spencer Barefield, Isis Damily, Alvin Waddles, Thornetta Davis, and the Gabriel Brass Band (Detroit).

Concert of Colors is metro Detroit’s free annual global music festival, an upbeat event celebrating diverse World music traditions-including the indigenous music of the Motor City. The festival also hosts the Forum on Community, Culture and Race, a series of conversations with artists, cultural and community leaders examining the role of the arts in overcoming social barriers.
